TESTING INFO

STANFORD TESTING—3-8
Heritage Covenant will administer the Stanford Achievement Test to students in grades 3 thru 8 on Monday thru Wednesday, the 19th, 20th, & 21st of March at the Peoples Church in Franklin.
The test lasts all three days.
It is highly recommended that parent/teachers take the opportunity to have their children tested, but the final decision is yours.

STANFORD TESTING—9-11
Those high schoolers who have taken the ACT have already fulfilled our testing requirement, so are not involved in the Stanford testing. All other high schoolers are expected to take the Stanford. Grades 9 thru 11 test for only two days: 19th & 20th (M & Tu) March in Franklin.
The high school test extends over both days.

TESTING SCHEDULE
First Day — 9:30 - Noon
Second Day — 9:00 - Noon
Third Day — 9:00 - Noon (grades 3-8 only)

TESTING RESERVATIONS
A written reservation must be made for every student being tested. Fill out the form printed on reverse and mail it to the HCS office by Friday, 9 March. E-mail & faxed reservations are acceptable.
Each student making a reservation will receive a confirmation slip that a place has been reserved for them. Students without a reservation will not be admitted to the testing.

TESTING GUIDELINES
1. Make sure the student has had a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast in preparation for the testing.
2. Each student needs to bring two No.2 pencils.
3. There will be periodic breaks to allow a visit to the restroom and a snack break. Please provide your student with a fruit drink, fruit or other healthy snack. There are no vending machines on the testing floor and students will not be allowed to leave the testing floor under any circumstances.

TESTING PROCEDURES
1. On the day of the test, please arrive about 15 minutes early (do not enter the building more than 30 minutes early). Signs will direct you as to where to enter and where to wait. Rev. Jones will meet with everyone together, make any announcements, take questions, then pray with everyone before the students go to the testing rooms.
2. Please respect the property of the Church. Parents are not to stay on the property during the testing time. This helps prevent any confusion concerning security for our students or for the children involved in the church’s ministries.
3. Please refer to the Dress Code policy in the HCS Handbook. Gentlemen do not wear hats inside a building!
4. No smoking is ever allowed on the church property.
5. Students who violate the Dress or Conduct policy (refer page 8 of HCS Handbook) will be expelled from testing. They may also be dismissed from Heritage Covenant.

The Peoples Church (First Baptist) is located on Hwy 96 approximately one mile west of Interstate 65.
